Unconditional offer scheme

If you make Winchester your first choice, we may be able to make you an unconditional offer depending on your results to date and your predicted grades. Once we receive your application from UCAS, our Admissions team will carefully review it, looking at your grades as well as your commitment to learning in your personal statement. We will get in touch with you within four working days to let you know about your offer and whether you are eligible for an unconditional offer.

If you achieve particularly good grades, you may also receive our Highfliers Achievement Award of up to £600 and be invited to join the Highflier Scholars’ Scheme. How to apply for full-time undergraduate study

UCAS is the place to go to make your application to Winchester. All you need to do is complete the online application form available from the UCAS website.

You can do many of our courses on a part-time basis. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL – formerly known as AP[E]L)

If you wish to apply for advanced standing (exemption from part of a programme) based on previous study and/or experiential learning, you may apply for RPL. Please note that any credits or marks gained from previous study shall not be counted in your final result as your award is calculated solely on the credits and marks accumulated while registered at the University of Winchester.
